Winter Storm Alerts have been issued for much of the state. Snow and strong winds will cause impacts to travel. "NDDOT and the National Weather Service anticipate severe winter weather will create difficult travel conditions in much of North Dakota Friday night through Sunday morning. I-94 between Jamestown and the Montana border and several other roads, including US 52 East between Jamestown and Minot, are closed. This comes from officials within the North Dakota Department of Transportation, who as of this publication, have stated the entire state is under a no travel advisory. (Fargo, ND) - A No Travel Advisory is being issued to all counties across the state. Conditions are expected to improve into the evening, and more fully recover into Sunday night. Two Southwestern North Dakota counties, Bowman and Slope, briefly downgraded to a travel alert but have since reinstated No Travel Advisory alerts. (Update: 11:25 a.m) - A portion of I-94 has reopened between Dickinson and the Montana Border.
